This heavy-duty military-style lensatic compass with a die-cast metal body is great for hikers, backpackers, scouts and military manuevers. Why trust a cheap plastic compass that could get crushed or leak when you need it most?

With a good map and this compass, you can get your bearings, set your course and make your way to your destination. The luminous dial is large and easy to read in daylight or darkness and it has a click-adjustable luminous marching line to help keep you on course.

As you can see in the photo, this tan compass has a magnifying viewer and a sighting hairline of brass wire. What you can't see as easily is the ruler on the left side to help you navigate on maps, setting a course and determining the distance to your destination.
